On Saturday evening, October 3, 2026, we’re inviting The Land Con U.S. attendees to step beyond the convention for a uniquely Austin evening centered around connection, community, signature Sassenach cocktails, and unforgettable views.
Created exclusively for The Land Con U.S. attendees in partnership with Sassenach Spirits, this special non-talent experience is designed as an opportunity to relax, experience a bit of Austin, and spend time alongside fellow fans after a full day at the convention.
We’ve privately secured an entire sunset cruise vessel for just 100 attendees as we set out onto Lady Bird Lake at golden hour, with the Austin skyline glowing around us.

As night begins to fall, we’ll make our way toward one of Austin’s most iconic sights: the evening emergence of the bats from the Congress Avenue Bridge.
Each year, an estimated 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats take flight at dusk, creating a dramatic and unforgettable spectacle in the sky.
But this won’t be from a crowded shoreline.
It will be our boat. Our community. Our moment.
