ATTENDEE CODE OF CONDUCT

The Land Con U.S. celebrates the stories we love and the community they have created. We know our attendees share our goal of making the weekend welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. Most of these guidelines are simply common courtesy, but thoughtful choices can make a meaningful difference.

BE KIND AND PATIENT
Please treat attendees, guests, moderators, volunteers, vendors, staff, and venue employees with kindness and respect. Conventions can bring crowded spaces, long lines, schedule changes, and unexpected delays. We appreciate your patience and cooperation with staff guidance.

RESPECT PERSONAL SPACE
Please ask before hugging, touching, photographing, or recording someone. Enjoy meeting our guests during scheduled experiences while allowing them privacy and personal space at other times, including during personal conversations and while moving through the venue. Guests may decline any pose, physical interaction, question, request, or gift.

ENJOY PHOTOGRAPHY THOUGHTFULLY
Personal photography is welcome during panels unless otherwise announced. Please avoid flash, long lenses, or equipment that blocks aisles or another attendee’s view. Video and audio recording are not permitted during panels or interviews, although brief personal video clips may be taken as guests enter or leave the stage unless otherwise announced. Photography and recording are not permitted during photo opportunities, autograph sessions, meet-and-greet experiences, or other restricted activities unless authorized.

HELP THE WEEKEND RUN SMOOTHLY
Please wear your badge, arrive on time, and respect seating, ticket-tier access, and queue procedures. Keep aisles, exits, and accessible seating areas clear. During panels, silence electronic devices and minimize conversations and distractions. Schedule changes can, and often do, occur throughout the weekend. Attendees are responsible for staying informed by checking the convention screens, following @thelandconuslive on Instagram, visiting thelandconus.com/schedule, and listening for announcements or guidance from staff and volunteers.

KEEP QUESTIONS CONSIDERATE
Audience questions and comments should be respectful, appropriate for a public setting, and considerate of everyone involved. Avoid anything that could reasonably embarrass or intrude upon personal relationships, health, family matters, or other private areas. Moderators may redirect or end a question when needed.

LOOK OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER
Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, or unsafe behavior have no place at The Land Con U.S. Report serious concerns to staff lead or venue security. For an immediate danger or medical emergency, contact venue security or call 911. Repeated, intentional, threatening, or unsafe conduct may result in removal from an activity or the convention, revocation of credentials, involvement of venue security or law enforcement, or restriction from future events. Removal may be without a refund. Violence, credible threats, stalking, serious harassment, or an immediate safety risk may result in removal without prior warning.
